Radiant Church, located in Arden NC, is seeking to fill the following positions.
Worship Pastor
Position:
Radiant Church is seeking an energetic worship Pastor with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to the spiritual disciplines of prayer and Bible study. Godly character, a positive attitude and the ability to lead with integrity and passion. Self-motivated and directed.
Requirements include a vocally talented musician who can play at least one instrument, piano or guitar. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading worship services, ensuring they are aligned with the church’s mission and values. If part time, responsibilities will include leading our worship ministry and helping with pastoral care. Full time would include work in an additional area of ministry such as missions, students, discipleship etc.
Qualifications:
Godly character, positive attitude and the ability to lead with integrity and passion.
Self-motivated and directed.
BS degree preferred.
Previous experience leading worship in a church setting (2 years).
Proficiency in vocal and instrumental music; ability to play guitar or keyboard/piano is a must.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers.
Ability to use Planning Center, ProPresenter, Resi livestream and Microsoft Office Suite; and other church systems.

Plan and lead Sunday worship services and special events in collaboration with the Senior Pastor and worship team.
Select and arrange music that aligns with the church’s theological beliefs and enhances the worship experience.
Lead rehearsals and ensure that all worship team members are well-prepared for services.

Select and arrange music that aligns with the church’s theological beliefs and enhances the worship experience.

Team Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members, including musicians, vocalists, and technical volunteers.
Foster a spirit of unity, collaboration, and spiritual growth within the worship team.

Service Planning:
Collaborate with church staff to create cohesive and engaging worship services.
Incorporate various styles of music to reflect the diversity of the congregation.
Utilize multimedia and other creative elements to enhance the worship experience.

Maintain and organize worship-related equipment and supplies.
